The Coinbase expansion into stock trading and prediction markets is fascinating from a regulatory positioning standpoint. They're essentially building a one-stop financial services platform while most tradfi brokers are still figuring out crypto custody. The Solana DEX integration through Jupiter is also smart because it sidesteps the whole "unregistered securities" problem by routing through decentralized infra. I've been tracking how exchanges navigate these boundries and Coinbase is clearly betting regulators will be more lenient if they control both onramps.
